The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted the Law “On Ratification of the Guarantee Agreement between Ukraine, as a Guarantor, and the European Atomic Energy Community, as a Loaner, on the Agreement of mechanism of granting a loan in the amount of EUR 300 mln, dd. August 7, 2013

The Guarantee Agreement is aimed at ensuring the possibility of involving a loan from the European Atomic Energy Community for implementation of the Comprehensive (Overall) programme of improving the safety of nuclear reactors at nuclear power plants” that will promote increasing the security level of power-generating units of Ukraine according to international standards, including the IAEA standards.

Respective bill was registered under No. 0082.
